Mark graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor in Arts in Russian Area Studies. He served as an officer in the United States Air Force following college for nearly 7 years. Upon leaving military service he pursued a career as a Financial Advisor. He has provided financial advice to families and businesses for over 17 years. Mark is a proud Army dependent; whose wife is an active duty Army Nurse, they have two children.

Due in part to his own service and also stemming from following his wife with the military, Mark has focused much of his career as a Financial Advisor on working with military families. Mark also has experience working with small business owners on retirement plans, insurance and other benefit programs.

Mark has been on the board for USO at Fort Bliss and served as President of the Board for Child and Youth Services for both Fort Knox and Fort Hood for the US Army.

Mark has been on the Board of several organizations, including USO. He currently serves as President of the Fort Hood Child and Youth Services Parent Advisory Board.

Mark was honored by Donald Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense, for his service as a Financial Advisor to victims families following the 9/11/2000 attack and was given a certificate signed by Donald Rumsfeld for his service following 9/11.

Mark is licensed in Life and Health Insurance and holds the Series 6, 63,65 and 7 securities registrations through LPL Financial.
